Andrew Hague and Cormac Meaney defended well and there were some great saves from Alex Bonnard, Cougars first half goalkeeper.A good attacking move from Cougars, with Charlie Monk and Alex Griffin combining well - Alex's shot forcing a good save from Unicorn's keeper.The second half was real end to end action, Farnham scoring first in the top corner. Cougars continued to battle and the whole team showed commitment, sensing that a goal was coming.......And then came the moment that Cougars Youth U9 had so richly deserved.... Alex Griffin was determined that his persistence would pay off and it did as he scored - Cougars first goal was greeted with a huge cheer from the watching parents !A final score of 4-1 to Farnham but the real story was of continued improvement from Cougars and a never give up attitude.
