Finally, the first opportunity of the day came, along run down the wing by Eddy and his cross was in vain because no one was in the penalty area. Later on in the first period, a delivery from Max found Callum who smashed the ball against the woodwork. Midway throw the 1st half Farncombe had they first shot on goal and it was brilliantly saved by William. Shortly after that miss, the half time whistle blew, with a score line of Woking Cougars 0 Farncombe Youth Flyers 0.Second half began at a rapid pace and this time it was all Farncombe. They created a couple of opportunities, both well defended by the back four. But eventually the deadlock was broken as Farncombe took a 1-0 lead but you have to say, looking at the first half alone, they didn’t deserve it. Ten minutes later we got an opportunity when Max ran from the half way line to the edge of the penalty area. He then cut inside and smashed the ball against the post and was so unlucky not to have scored. As we entered the last minute of the game Farncombe came forward, a cross found one of their players who tapped the ball into the back of the net to make it 2-0. That was the last kick of the match, a final score of Woking Cougars 0 Farncombe Youth Flyers 2.Woking Cougars were beaten 2-0 at home just like Championship side Bristol City.
