We had two shots on target in quick succession from Jamie and Eddy. Towards the end of the first half, despite sustained pressure from Colts, Spelthorne’s luck got them a late goal. The second half was gripping, Colts held their own with luck on their side as Spelthorne’s goal was disallowed. With ten minutes to go, William hit the post but very soon after went on to score a goal for Colts. With seven minutes to go, Spelthorne got their second goal and then their third goal with just 5 minutes to go. Despite being 3-1 down, Colts still continued to apply pressure and play well. Woking Cougars’ loss mirrored that of Blackburn’s 3-1 defeat at Newcastle however well done to today’s MOTM Eddy.
