Under 8's2nd November Farnham Bears 2 Woking Cougars 9We arrived to it being a Grey and drisserley morning but by the end the sun was shining down on us in more ways than oneLast time we visited Farnham we won the Tournament so with that in mind here we go The team was set up with Louis in goal AJ and Kier defence Kian & Andrew Midfield Zak & Alex up front. The game started as we meant to go on with Alex taking a shot at Goal unlucky that time but soon made up for it .All action in our favour with Kian scoring early on with his Sister proudly on side line cheering him on. Continuing to dominate the game Andrew has shot but goes over crossbar, there no 23 was the player to watch with Kian marking him well but soon gains possession of ball heads for goal he scores another Big CHEER! from sister believing she is his lucky mascot .Play continues Alex soon scores goal no.3, Farnham now applying pressure, AJ & Kier working hard in defence & Louis pulling of some fine saves .Kian takes corner Farnham clear Andrew makes good challenge shot on goal 4-0 cougars. Follow quickly by goal 5 Alex good possession from Zak following Andrews throw in , Farnham have attempt at goal no luck goal kick AJ , Kian passes to Alex Goal No.6.Farnham mounting More Pressure Good solid defending Zak Kian AJ & Kier The one time it got through Louis pounced on it with strikers raining down on him but was not letting go. AJ with goal kick resulting with another goal from Alex. Centre start from Farnham Zak gains possession shot on goal good save Farnham whistle blows half time.Second Half Alex & Andrew off Joseph & Nathan on, Farnham have started fast to try and get some goals back, our defence having to work hard , Zak makes run down wing stopped by there defence. Corner to Farnham between Joseph & Nathan it is cleared only for it too come straight back shot Farnhan miss. Very end too end both having attempts at goal resulting with breakthrough Farnham . Zak off Kier moves up Andrew on in defence, louis saves Farnhams next shot at goal ,we go forward with Kier having shot at goal , Kian off Alex on Farnham still applying pressure Louis having to pull off more saves Nathan & AJ Swop positions with Nathan going in defence , AJ takes ball forward defended by Farnham resulting in goal kick returned swiftly by Alex Goal no. 8 & before I can report on that Alex has scored goal no. 9. Farnham return favour and score there 2nd , Louis out of goal Andrew goes in for last few minutes Farnham still trying to score Final whistle blows Full Time Farnham 2 Cougars 9 MAN OF THE MATCH to our 6 goal scorer Alex well done Well done to all our boys who played hard it was an enjoyable game to watch.
